Phillipa
Phillipa has a lifelong passion for dancing and teaching. Phillipa trained at Elmhurst Ballet School and Rambert Academy and went on to dance professionally with Imago Dance Company. Her teaching career began in Zambia and then at a range of schools in England, before establishing her own successful school in Godalming.
Sophie
Sophie has been teaching at the Phillipa Hogan School of Dance since 2010 and was appointed Deputy Principal in 2019. She trained at the Royal Academy of Dance, graduating with a BA (Hons) in Ballet Education. Sophie also works as a teaching mentor for the RAD’s Ballet Education degree students and has recently joined the Royal Ballet School’s Intensive Courses Pastoral Team.
Louie
Louie trained at Laine Theatre Arts and is a professional Musical Theatre performer. He is a qualified Acro, ISTD Tap, Modern and Ballet Teacher. Louie is also a talented Voice Over artist, a certified LAMDA teacher, and a dedicated personal trainer. Bringing his wealth of experience and passion for the arts, Louie joined the Dance School in 2022.
Liz
Liz went to the Royal Ballet School at White Lodge, moving to the Royal Ballet Upper School and then joining the Royal Ballet Company age 17. During her career with the Royal Ballet, she performed various Corps de Ballet, Coryphee and Soloist roles at Covent Garden and on several overseas/world tours.
After retiring from the Royal Ballet, Liz moved into the Health, Fitness & Exercise Industry and post Covid, she now teaches Ballet Repertoire Workshops and works extensively with young classical ballet students preparing them for auditions, exams and competitions.

Natalie
Natalie trained at PPA Guildford and graduated with a 1st Class BA (Hons) in Musical Theatre. She teaches Acro, Lyrical and Contemporary dance classes. Natalie joined the Dance School in 2024
Isabelle
Isabelle is a previous pupil at the Dance School, going on to train as a teacher at the Royal Academy of Dance, graduating with a BA (Hons) in Ballet Education. Isabelle joined the Dance School in 2023.
